Description

Tentacle Software Feedsource is a Windows Home Server Add-In that publishes secure Really Simple Syndication (“RSS”) feeds for Shared Folders through the Remote Access web site.

Authorized users access Feedsource RSS feeds from inside or outside the home network to view new and changed files in Shared Folders using any RSS reader that supports authenticated feeds.

Getting Started

For information on getting started with Feedsource, see the Feedsource help file in the Windows Home Server Console. Simply navigate to the Feedsource tab in the Windows Home Server Console Settings dialog and click the "Help" button.

Installing Windows Home Server Add-Ins

To install an Add-In, save the .msi file to the Add-Ins folder inside your server's Software share (\\server\Software\Add-Ins, for example). Then open the Windows Home Server Console, go to the Settings dialog box and install the Add-In using the Add-Ins tab.

To remove an Add-In, always use the Add-Ins tab in the Windows Home Server Console. Never install or uninstall an Add-In using Add/Remove Programs.
